Day two of the Caucasian Challenge saw the teams speed across the rest of Turkey with the occasional stop at a local village. The driving was relatively straightforward, but crossing into Georgia proved to be a monotonous process with a wait time of over seven hours! It wasn’t all bad, as one team befriended a local bus driver who offered them drinks, snacks, and even a place to take a nap.
Upon seeing Georgia, the teams realized the wait was worth it. It took some teams until the early hours of day three to reach the seaside town of Batumi, the location that officially marks the beginning of the Caucasian experience.
