If there’s a more perfect way to travel over 1000km of India’s beautiful Malabar coast than by rickshaw, we haven’t heard of it. On April 2nd, twenty small teams will begin the great Indian adventure rally so far, the Rickshaw Challenge: Malabar Rampage.
Competitors come from all over the world: from Australia and New Zealand, the United States, Malaysia, France and Germany, Sweden, the United Kingdom and Ireland, and India itself. Departing from Trivandrum, and arriving at Panaji on April 8th, they’ll experience a side of India that is rarely seen. Rickshaws, also known as Tuk-tuks, are a common site in India, but not usually driven by hoards of hardy adventurers!
The Malabar Rampage is an Indian adventure rally with a difference
This Indian Adventure rally isn’t just about testing your resolve in a foreign land, it’s also about having fun! The teams will have to work together, interact with locals (when they inevitably get lost…), and enjoy secret parties along the way. Rally challenges will keep things unpredictable, while the rickshaws themselves may require some tender love and care.
The rickshaws will certainly stand out, thanks to the Rickshaw Challenge’s Pimp my Shaw Service; the competitor’s will be proudly travelling in vehicles covered by their own wacky designs!
This Indian adventure rally isn’t the first or last!
The best news is that this is one of many adventure rallies organized by Travel Scientists. Renowned for their great customer care, they organize many crazy challenges worldwide.
As well as other events in Indian, they also organise epic road adventures through Central Asia and the Caucasus. For now, we at GamingZion Events will be keeping you informed of how the Malabar Rampage goes, and what ridiculous stories the competitors gather along the way!
